DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\nThe 27th Annual Richmond Porsche Meet\, Shenandoah Region’s premier annual event\, is just around the corner. Mark your calendars for September 14 & 15. Plan on joining your friends and seeing some fabulous cars at the beautiful Brandermill Country Club in Midlothian\, VA. This is a new venue for the region this year. \n\nBrandermill Country Club \n3700 Brandermill Parkway \nMidlothian\, VA 23112 \n(Map) \n\nAt 5:30 PM Saturday\, the region will host a private cocktail party. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be offered at the Hampton Inn – Midlothian Turnpike. This event is only open to Porsche Club of America members that are registered for RPM. \n  \nThe host hotel for the event is the Hampton Inn located off of Midlothian Turnpike. Please make your reservation directly with the hotel through the link below. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast for guests. The charge is $75 per stay for pets. \n  \nRICHMOND PORSCHE MEET \n  \nThe judged\, tops only concours on the No. 1 Fairway of the Brandermill Country Club in Midlothian will kick off a full day of activities on Sunday. Participants will need to register their Porsche for the Concours. All judged Porsches will be included in the People’s Choice award. If you are not entering the judged Concours\, you will still want to polish your Porsche and plan to park in the Corral and participate in the People’s Choice award. Whether your focus is the vintage cars or to feast your eyes on the latest models – they will all be there! \n  \nLunch must be ordered during registration on this site and will be provided by the Brandermill Country Club in the banquet room. Porsche merchandise will be raffled during the luncheon courtesy of Euroclassics Porsche. \n  \nThe concours trophy presentations will be after lunch in Brandermill Country Club banquet room. \n  \nAfter the awards presentations\, a driving tour will depart from Brandermill Country Club. \n  \nNewer members\, come and meet fellow members who share your passion for Porsches. \n  \nRemember\, it’s not just about the cars\, it’s about the people. SUMMARY:Shenandoah RIR Autocross 2024
DESCRIPTION:Richmond International Raceway\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\nShenandoah Region PCA Autocross at Richmond International Raceway on the banked oval! \nCome autocross at RIR for the unique experience of running a course on the 3/4 mile 14 degree banked turns of the NASCAR track! \nThe course will go down pit road and enter the track in turn 1\, go all the way around the track to finish before turn 3\, (one and a half laps with a few cones to keep things safe!). \nEntrants will get at least four timed runs. \nThe day starts EARLY with the first car off at 9:00\, we have to finish the last run by 5:00. \nGates open at 7:30AM. The driver’s meeting will be at 8:45AM and the first car off will be at 9:00. Spectators are free and encouraged to join us! PCA member registration is $165.00; Non-member registration is $195.00. \nPre-Registration is required\, no on site registration. \nREGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 60 CARS! \n\nShenandoah Region PCA Event Operating Procedures \n\nRegistration\n\nAll registration\, payment\, and check in will be done electronically on www.Motorsportreg.com. Online pre-registration will be open until 6:00pm the day before the event.\nThere will be no on site registration.\nOnce you are parked in the pit area please come to the timing table to pick up your staging bar code sticker with your car number.\nWaivers will be signed using Speedwaiver Use this link Speedwaiver to sign the waiver for drivers and spectators before the autocross. You must have a smart phone to complete this process. This must be completed before the drivers meeting on the day of the event.\nPlease understand that the steps above are the only way to register and participate in this event. If you show up and are unable or unwilling to register this way\, you will not be able to participate.\n\n\nLoaner helmets\n\nLoaner helmets will not be available. This does not exempt you from the requirement to wear an approved helmet when you compete.\n\n\nDriver’s meeting\n\nThe driver’s meeting will be at 8:45.\nThe run work order will be posted at the event.\n\n\nTech Inspection\n\nEntrants are required to fill out the self tech certification in the online registration form\nThere will be a final tech in the pit area before the drivers meeting.\n\n\n\n\nCourse walking\n\nEntrants can walk the course once it is set.\nThere will not be a guided course walk.\n\n\nPaddock and Grid\n\nPaddock area is on pit road\n\n\nWater\n\nParticipants are encouraged to bring their own drinks for proper hydration during the event.
