SUMMARY:Charlottesville Turkeys in the Trunk 2026
DESCRIPTION:Shenandoah Region Community\, \nOn Saturday\, November 21\, please join fellow Porsche Club of America members for our annual Charlottesville Thanksgiving charitable gathering. This year\, we are pleased to partner with Porsche Charlottesville in hosting this important charitable event. We extend our sincere gratitude to the entire Porsche Charlottesville team for their generous involvement\, hospitality\, and support of our community. Their participation helps make this year’s Turkeys in the Trunk especially meaningful. \nWhat to Bring: Please bring frozen turkeys\, Thanksgiving side dishes\, canned goods\, or other nonperishable food to help families in Charlottesville and surrounding communities. Every donation helps support neighbors facing food insecurity during the holiday season. \nEvent Schedule \n10:15 AM  —  Parking volunteers arrive at Porsche Charlottesville to assist with parking. \n10:30 AM  —  Members may begin arriving. Enjoy coffee and breakfast treats. \n11:30 AM  —  Depart Porsche Charlottesville for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank at 1207 Harris Street\, Charlottesville\, to deliver our donations. \nRegistration Deadline: Thursday\, November 19\, 2026\, at 9:00 AM. Register Here \nThis is one of our region’s most important charitable events. With approximately 650 Shenandoah Region members\, participation in previous years has been lower than we would like. We hope everyone will make a special effort to take part this year. All Shenandoah Region members and members of other PCA regions are welcome\, especially our friends from the First Settlers Region and Blue Ridge regions. \nImportant Arrival Instructions. Please do not arrive at Porsche Charlottesville before 10:30 AM unless you are a designated parking volunteer. The dealership will be conducting normal business during our gathering so please be considerate of its customers\, employees\, and parking operations. \nParking Volunteers Needed. We need volunteers to help direct and park arriving vehicles at Porsche Charlottesville. Volunteers should report at 10:15 AM\, ahead of general member arrival. To volunteer\, please send an email to Jonathan Perelman at sr.pca.prez@gmail.com. \nNOTE: The First Settlers Region’s Turkey in the Trunk event is on November 14th. Click FSR Link Here for details.
