SUMMARY:Steaks & Cigars Night - Staunton
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday evening\, February 21st\, the Shenandoah Region will kick-off this year’s events with a Steak & Cigars Night in charming downtown Staunton. We have reserved tables at the Chop House Tavern in the heart of Staunton located at 29 N. Augusta Street. Each guest will be responsible for their own meal and beverages. The restaurant has a no smoking policy but after dinner interested parties can walk a half block to the Beverley Cigar Store & Lounge at 2 E. Beverley Street to cap off their evening with a cigar. \nThe reservations at the Chop House Tavern are for 6:30 pm and attendance is capped at 16 people.  Parking is plentiful and most of it is free after 6 pm.  The menu for the restaurant is available at  https://www.choptavern.com. \nRegistration ends on Monday February 16 at 10:00 AM\, but don’t wait\, this event will fill up fast! \nThe following morning is our breakfast event at Hotel 24 South\, also in Staunton\, followed by a drive to Stable Craft Brewing in the Shenandoah Valley. You can make a weekend out of these two event  by booking a room at Hotel 24 South for Saturday night. NOTE: Group rates are not available. DESCRIPTION:The Shenandoah Region is kicking off 2026 on Sunday\, February 22 with a breakfast at Hotel 24 South followed by a drive which will explore southwestern Augusta County. \nThe cost is $26.00 per person (includes gratuity and all taxes) \, includes breakfast\, parking and the drive. Breakfast will happen regardless of weather.  The drive will be weather permitting\, and our driving team will make the final determination. Breakfast will commence at 10:00 AM sharp in the ballroom of Hotel 24 South in downtown Staunton. The club is subsidizing the cost of the ballroom. This will be a full buffet breakfast/brunch. \nThe hotel entrance is located at 24 South Market Street and we are asking all drive participant’s to park in the city garage located at 100 E. Johnson Street adjacent to the hotel. Our driving team committee will be there to direct you to your assigned spot. From the garage you will be able to take the elevator to the hotel lobby where the ballroom is located. \nAfter breakfast we will hold our drivers meeting and then proceed to explore the countryside of southwestern Augusta County. \nFor logistical and parking reasons\, only the breakfast participants will be eligible for the drive. SUMMARY:2nd Annual Porsches & Pups
DESCRIPTION:Shenandoah Region members and their canine companions are invited to attend the second annual Porsches & Pups event on Sunday March 22nd. \nDog loving members may also attended solo. The event is open to Shenandoah Region and dual membership First Settlers Region folks only. \nWeather permitting\, the event will held at Le Berceau\, Barbie and Ray Chung’s home in Rapidan\, VA. (Scroll down for complete address and map.) This is an outdoor event\, so plan accordingly. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their lunch and a chair or blanket upon which to sit and have a picnic. The club will provide water and sodas. \nPlan to arrive by 11:00 am for the group walk at 11:30. This will allow the dogs to familiarize themselves with each other and for the humans to get a layout of the property. For the initial walk\, all participating dogs must be leashed. Lunchtime will follow. After lunch\, participants can hang out around the property and explore. Bring a ball or frisbee to play fetch. Consider bringing a towel (if your dog likes water) as there is a small pond and the property is bounded by a creek. \nAs there is approximately a mile of gravel road to the property\, arriving in a Porsche is not mandatory.  Please remember that this is an outdoor event. The property is not fenced. Attendees will have the opportunity to make a cash or check donation to the Culpeper Humane Society. \nVolunteers are needed as well. DESCRIPTION:The Shenandoah and Blue Ridge Porsche Regions of PCA are joining forces at the Virginia Equestrian Center in Lexington\, VA\, to support the Rockbridge Health Systems 18th annual fundraiser called the Bull & Oyster Festival.  This is a family event under a large tent and is held rain or shine. For anyone who hasn’t attended before\, it’s a fantastic day set against views of the Blue Ridge Mountains at the Virginia Horse Center. And this year they are setting aside a special area for us to park our Porsches. \nThe tickets have early bird pricing and will be available for purchase through the end of February on Rockbridge’s website.  Each ticket purchase includes one beverage. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, April 19\, the Shenandoah Region of PCA will host our Charlottesville Porsche Gathering driving tour. The tour will begin at the Ruckersville Food Lion (136 Cedar Grove Rd\, Ruckersville\, VA 22968) and end at the Prince Michel Vineyard & Winery/Tap 29 Brewery (154 Winery Lane\, Leon\, VA 22725). \nPrince Michel Vineyard & Winery website link. \nWe’ll meet in the Food Lion parking lot at 8:30 AM\, conduct our drivers’ meeting at 8:50 AM\, and tour group departures start at 9:00 AM. The route will be along the area’s scenic and twisty back roads and will stop for a short break along the way. \nTour groups will begin arriving at Prince Michel at about 11:30 AM. For anyone not taking part in the driving tour please arrive at the winery at that time as well. \nWe have a private event space where a hot buffet lunch will be served which is included in the price of the event.
