DESCRIPTION:NOTE: This is a non-PCA event. Charlottesville Cars and Coffee meets from 8 am to 10 am on the first and third Saturdays of every month all year at the Barracks Road Shopping Center. Bad weather does not cancel – use your brain. Normally 80 to 100 cars\, everything from Ford to Ferrari. Good mix of younger and older enthusiasts coming together to see some great cars and enjoy even better conversation. Usual rules apply; no burnouts or hard pulls\, no revving engines\, no trash! SUMMARY:Scenic Driving Tour
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, August 2\, 2026\, rain or shine\, the Shenandoah Region of Porsche Club of America will have a driving tour originating at the Verona Moose Lodge\, Staunton\, VA . The tour will drive through the scenic Western Augusta County with a stop at Bluestone Winery (located at 4828 Spring Creek Rd\, Bridgewater\, VA 22812). There’s an optional next stop at Smiley’s Ice Cream (located at 205 Don Litten Pkwy\, Bridgewater\, VA 22812) for dessert. \nWe shall meet at the Verona Moose Lodge located at 1510 Commerce Rd in Staunton. Plan to arrive at 7:45 AM. A continental breakfast consisting of sandwiches\, muffins and coffee will be served as part of your registration fee. The mandatory driver’s meeting will be at 8:45 AM and departures shall start at 9:00 AM. \nThis drive is sure to become a favorite\, offering winding mountain roads\, switchbacks\, elevation changes and beautiful views along well-maintained primary and secondary roads. The excitement begins in Western Augusta County as the route crosses the Alleghany Mountains into Highland County\, known as the “Little Switzerland of Virginia\,” then dips into “almost heaven” West Virginia before returning to Virginia. The 113-mile drive includes two rest stops and ends with rewarding stops at Bluestone Vineyard and Smiley’s Ice Cream. \nThe official drive will end at the Bluestone Winery. Please bring a picnic lunch which you may enjoy indoors or outside on the patio with gorgeous scenery. Directions to Smiley’s Ice Cream will be provided for those who want dessert. For the Buc-ee’s fans\, this unbelievable store is very near Smiley’s Ice Cream’s location. \nRegistration Link Here. SUMMARY:Fifth Annual Mukha's Backyard Driving Tour
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, August 30th\, the Shenandoah Region is proud to present the Fifth annual Mukha’s Backyard Driving Tour. Join us on country back roads traversing Orange and Madison counties with the final destination of Gordonsville. \nThe tour will start at the Orange Food Lion (577 N Madison Rd. Orange\, VA) on the Taco Bell side of the parking lot. Plan to arrive starting at 7:45 AM. Please immediately find your group lead to sign the waiver and stage with your group. The mandatory driver’s meeting will occur by 8:30 with the first groups leaving by 8:50. \nThe Orange Diner opens at 7:00 AM for those wanting to have a tasty breakfast before the drive. \nThe destination will be the Gordonsville Ice House just before they open at 11:00 AM to facilitate parking. Due to parking constraints\, we will be limiting the sign up to 35 cars.
