SUMMARY:Cars & Coffee Charlottesville
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: This is a non-PCA event. Charlottesville Cars and Coffee meets from 8 am to 10 am on the first and third Saturdays of every month all year at the Barracks Road Shopping Center. Bad weather does not cancel – use your brain. Normally 80 to 100 cars\, everything from Ford to Ferrari. Good mix of younger and older enthusiasts coming together to see some great cars and enjoy even better conversation. Usual rules apply; no burnouts or hard pulls\, no revving engines\, no trash! SUMMARY:Frühlingsfest - First Settlers Region Spring Social
DESCRIPTION:Join your First Settlers Region (FSR) friends for a social event on Saturday\, April 5th\, from 2 to 4 PM. This gathering\, named “Frühlingsfest”\, at Gauthier Vineyard is in the spirit of a German family-friendly “Spring Festival” marking the start of spring. As Octoberfest is in the fall\, this German fest brings together friends to shed winter and welcome in the Spring. \nHead east toward the Hampton Roads peninsula to the open countryside of Gauthier Vineyards where we’ll celebrate our shared passion for Porsche\, enjoy some tasty delights and beverages with our FSR family. \nThis venue is special as the winemaker has made the vineyard’s event center available\, so please help support the vineyard where you can. The winemaker will be providing an overview of vineyard\, their wine making process and samples of Gauthier Vineyard wines. While enjoying wine and time with friends\, make sure you don’t miss out on German Chef Maggie’s Frühlingsfest treats. \nThe registration deadline is April 1. Please indicate if you will be joining us and the number of people who will be in your group. There is ample parking and a social area\, but please register as soon as possible. DESCRIPTION:The Shenandoah Region of PCA will kick off our Charlottesville Porsche Meet\, formerly known as the Spring Fling weekend\, on Friday\, April 18th with an evening reception hosted by Porsche Charlottesville. You must register to attend as walk-ins will not be permitted. \nDoors open at 5:30 PM and the event will last until 7:30. Please join us for hors d’oeuvres\, beverages\, and an evening of Shenandoah Region PCA camaraderie! There is a nominal $20.00 per person charge for this event. Attendance is limited to Porsche Club of America members\, their registered guests\, and invited guests of Porsche Charlottesville. \nPorsche Charlottesville will be showing their electric and hybrid models including a 30-minute session on the new Macan Electric hosted by their certified Techs from 6:30 to 7:00. SUMMARY:Charlottesville Porsche Meet: Driving Tour to Bold Rock Cidery
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, April 19th\, the Shenandoah Region will host our Charlottesville Porsche Meet driving tour of the Charlottesville/Albemarle County area starting in Crozet and ending at Bold Rock Cidery. We will meet at Claudius Crozet Park\, 5300 Park Road\, Crozet\, VA 22932. Coffee and an assortment of pastries will be provided by Praha Bakery at the park’s gazebo starting at 8:00 AM. Our drivers’ meeting will be held at 8:45 AM followed by drive group departure starting at 9:00. There is a nominal fee of $10 for the driving tour. After approximately 2 hours of driving along the area’s beautiful scenic backroads and stopping for a break along the way\, the drive groups will arrive at Bold Rock in Nellysford (1020 Rockfish Valley Highway\, Nellysford\, VA 22958) beginning at 11:30 AM. \nBold Rock will have a special parking area for our Porsches. Please follow the signs and/or attendants to our designated area. Lunch and beverages (cider\, beer and spirits) will be available for purchase. The Cidery has reserved a separate room reserved for lunch for our members. Prizes will be given out for a People Choice Concours with voting concluding at 2:30 PM and winners announced at 3:30.

SUMMARY:Porsches & Pups
DESCRIPTION:Shenandoah Region members and their canine companions are invited to attend the inaugural Porsches & Pups event on Sunday April 27th. \nDog loving members may also attended solo. The event is open to Shenandoah Region members only. \nWeather permitting\, the event will held at Le Berceau\, Barbie and Ray Chung’s home in Rapidan\, VA. (Scroll down for complete address and map.) This is an outdoor event\, so plan accordingly. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their lunch and a chair or blanket upon which to sit and have a picnic. The club will provide water and sodas. \nPlan to arrive by 10:30 am for the group walk at 11:00. This will allow the dogs to familiarize themselves with each other and for the humans to get a layout of the property. For the initial walk\, all participating dogs must be leashed. Lunchtime will follow. After lunch\, participants can hang out around the property and explore. Bring a ball or frisbee to play fetch. Consider bringing a towel (if your dog likes water) as there is a small pond and the property is bounded by a creek. \nAs there is approximately a mile of gravel road to the property\, arriving in a Porsche is not mandatory.  Please remember that this is an outdoor event. The property is not fenced. Attendees are strongly encouraged to make a donation to the Culpeper Humane Society.
