IT'S NOT JUST THE CARS, IT'S THE PEOPLE
The Shenandoah and Blue Ridge Porsche Regions of PCA are joining forces at the Virginia Equestrian Center in Lexington, VA, to support the Rockbridge Health Systems 18th annual fundraiser called the Bull & Oyster Festival. This is a family event under a large tent and is held rain or shine. For anyone who hasn’t attended before, it’s a fantastic day set against views of the Blue Ridge Mountains at the Virginia Horse Center. And this year they are setting aside a special area for us to park our Porsches.
The tickets have early bird pricing and will be available for purchase through the end of February on Rockbridge’s website. Each ticket purchase includes one beverage. Additional beverages can be purchased at the event. Part of each ticket is tax deductible and the funds are used to help indigent patients with hospital bills. The fair market value of your contribution will be provided after purchase.
Here’s a little of what guests can look forward to:
Food & Drink: A classic feast of BBQ, oysters served raw, fried, and baked, craft beer, and local wine, with plenty of non-alcoholic options available.
Live Music: The beloved local bluegrass group, Gary Ruley & Mule Train, will be performing.
Fun & Games: We’ll have several cornhole boards set up for some friendly competition.
Prizes for a Purpose: Guests can purchase chances to win great prizes from our prize boards—like hotel stays, glider rides, merchandise donated from local merchants, and cash—or enter a drawing for two beautiful pearl jewelry pieces. All proceeds directly support the Health Center’s mission.
To support our planning team and caterer, we ask that all club members purchase their tickets by February 28th. We have a special promo code to use when purchasing tickets at the link below. That code is TARGA and will identify you as a member of our group.
