Members of the Shenandoah Region of PCA gathered at the Chop House Tavern in Staunton, VA, the evening of February 21 for the region’s first event of 2026. After a delicious meal, the partakers of fine tobacco walked down the street to the Beverley Cigar Store and Lounge for their favorite ‘dessert’.

The following morning about 35 region members braved the huge wet snowflakes to return to downtown Staunton for a breakfast buffet in Hotel 24 South’s ballroom. After having their fill of delicious breakfast items, folks socialized with new and old friends. Sadly, the less than desirable weather prompted the cancellation of the planned after-breakfast drive around the southwestern portion of Augusta County. But look for a coffee shop gathering followed by the same drive to be announced for some time in the near future.
