The region hosted a New Member Dinner Party at Jason Robson’s Carsortium in Staunton, VA. We had 32 new members, spouses/significant others along with 11 board members and invited guests.
We enjoyed hors ‘dourves, a full complement of beverages and a delicious catered Italian dinner. Dottie Dilts provided homemade cake for dessert. Joe Questel, Ted Rabusseau and their spouses organized the event and did an outstanding job for our new members.

Sunday afternoon the new members of the PCA Shenandoah region met with leadership and a few members at the Auto Carsortium in Staunton Va. The Carsortium is a collection of cars on consignment or storage and is a warehouse of nice cars ready to be driven and viewed. It is a great back drop for the event and allows for good conversation and eye candy for auto enthusiasts of all types of cars. Lots of Porsches are always on hand so this made for an ideal spot to break the ice with new members and to get new friendships formed.
30 plus people came together to learn more about our region, meet the officers and most importantly ask questions what we are about, what types of things do we do, and where they may fit in. A questionnaire was given to each member to find facts about other members. A dinner was provided, and it was an interesting afternoon. As you can see, there were a bunch of nice and rare cars around and no one overlooked a car they wish they could take home…………for a price. What a great collection of cars, with specialized technology and design, no matter what the make. Special thanks to John Odden who is our membership chair to bring this together and continue to focus on the experience of our members who are new to our group. We hope to continue to see these new members around, please reach out and say hi and get them involved.
