Have you ever wondered how the melodious symphony of an air-cooled Porsche is created?

Attendees at the Air-Cooled Tech Session were treated to insights about the inner workings of a 1978 SC motor. Shenandoah Region member and air-cooled engine expert, Engelbert Muelhaupt, had a disassembled one available for viewing and hands-on learning. Engelbert taught us its inner-most workings and fielded questions from the audience.

Mechanical novices and experienced DIYers all came away with new knowledge of this much-loved Porsche engine. Vielen Dank to Engelbert for opening his wonderful garage and sharing his vast knowledge with us.
