The Shenandoah Region takes saying ‘Job well done’ to the next level with our very own challenge coin. For those unfamiliar with the concept, a challenge coin, also known as unit coin or commander’s coin, is a coin bearing an organization’s insignia or emblem and carried by the organization’s members. Historically, challenge coins have been presented by unit commanders in recognition of special achievement by a member of the unit.
To codify the challenge coin, we’ve written a mission statement for its presentation:
Challenge coins will be given to Shenandoah Region and other Porsche Club of America members as a reward for their hard
work, excellence or a completion of a very difficult task in support of our region’s activities.
