Shenandoah Region PCA members gathered on Saturday, May 23, to swap car stories and to check out the Porsches and one lonely ol’ Cadillac that braved the dreary weather to cruise-in that morning. Someone must have bribed the weather gods though as we didn’t experience any rain although it seemed a sure-bet based on the forecast. The forecast did affect which of their P-cars members drove that morning, Cayennes and Macans were in about equal numbers to 911s and Caymans. The buffet lunch we shared next was excellent. There was chicken, BBQ, cold cuts, and a variety of salads and desserts. After having our fill of vittles, Region President Jonathan Perelman said a few words about upcoming events like the Richmond Porsche Meet and Executive VP Rick Ebinger also talked about our upcoming autocross events. After lunch, the golfers in attendance had a putting challenge on the practice greens adjacent to the Clubhouse. The results were Regina Ebinger in third place, Martin Schulman in second, and the winner was Jonathan Perelman. No doubt he had a home course advantage!
