Our Sunday, August 2, Shenandoah Region PCA members had a great drive through the mist and rain on wet roads through Augusta, Highland, Pendleton (WV), and Rockingham counties. Lots of twisty bits and elevation changes as well as beautiful mountain and valley views. Despite the weather, the majority of those registered came out for the drive and were not disappointed. Hat tip to our hosts at the Verona Moose Lodge, the Bluestone Vineyard and Smiley’s Ice Cream in Bridgewater. Many thanks to the Brandywine Family Dollar store and the Brandywine General Store, our WV stop, for their hospitality. Great people, cars, highways, byways, and destinations.
Thank you to Wade Woolfrey, Richard Tabor, and all of the group leads for their time and effort in planning, organizing, and executing this drive. It’s not just the cars, it’s the people!
